The NDIS stands for the National Disability Insurance Scheme. They provide funding to people with disabilities to allow them have better quality of life.
They enable those with disabilities to be able to spend more time with their loved ones, have more independence, obtain new skills, and do the things they enjoy.
The NDIS is also able to connect those with disabilities to services in their community; including healthcare professionals, community groups, sports clubs, support groups, and educational organisations.

The NDIS may fund the following supports for participants - however it is a case-by-case basis and each person's circumstances are different;
Speak with your Support Coordinator or Plan Manager for assistance with gaining supports or funds.
The NDIS will not fund the following supports;
If your circumstances change, or if something happens which affects the type of supports you need, you are able to inform the NDIS or your support provider and they can work with you to have your plan reviewed.
Alternatively, your NDIS plan is reviewed every 12 months, which allows you and your support provider to assess your progress towards your goals and help set new goals for the year ahead.
